SumLock · privacy policy
Effective 2026-07-10 · applies to the SumLock Android app (com.dimensigon.sumlock)
| Data collected | None. SumLock has no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and makes no network requests. |
| Data shared | None, with anyone, ever. |
| Data stored on your device | Your lock configuration, your secret total and offsets, the duress event log, private notes, and usage statistics (unlock count, average solve time). Secrets, the duress log and private notes are encrypted with AES-256-GCM; the key lives in the Android Keystore and never leaves the device. |
| Permissions used | Display over other apps (the lock overlay itself), notifications (the "SumLock armed" status), run at startup (re-arm after reboot), biometric/device credential (your backup unlock). None of these transmit anything. |
| Account | No account, no sign-up, no e-mail. |
| Deleting your data | Uninstall the app — everything it stored goes with it. |
the whole policy fits on one screen, because there's nothing to disclose
